Workshops
From Me to We: Understanding Community Wellbeing
Tuesday, July 28th 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET via Zoom
Most of us are likely part of many different communities - some are geographically based; others are identity based. Some connected to our work; others to our personal interests and experiences. Communities may look different but they all shape our sense of connection, support, and wellbeing. Community wellbeing is about moving from a focus on “me” to “we”. It invites us to ask: “How are we doing?”, “What do we need?”, and “How can we support our community?”. In this session, we will define “community wellbeing”, explore how it both differs from and intersects with individual wellbeing, and discuss ways to support community wellbeing at work and in life.

Non-Death Loss and Grief
Many of us experience and carry “hidden losses”—changes in our lives, relationships, work, and sense of self that do not involve death, yet still bring real grief. With all that is going on in the world, country, and campus right now, this guide is intended to name these losses, acknowledge the accompanying feelings, and provide suggestions for how individuals and communities can navigate them with care and understanding.
