Eligible faculty and staff in the Contract College benefits program can enroll themselves and their families in the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP).
You may choose from two options: The Empire Plan or a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) in your geographic area that has been approved for participation in NYSHIP.

If you are eligible for NYSHIP health insurance, you are also eligible for the NYSHIP dental insurance. The State of New York pays the full cost of this coverage, but you must enroll to participate in the plan. Coverage is provided through Anthem Dental.

PREFERRED DRUG LISTING:
You can access a list of preferred drugs on the Civil Service website at https://www.cs.ny.gov. Click on State Employees, Health Benefits. First-time users will need to select “I am a New York State Active Employee” > Continue > Group = Management Confidential (MC) Legislature > Empire Plan or HMO > Finish.
