Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program offered by the U.S. Department of Education forgives the remaining balance on Direct Loans if you meet certain requirements. As an employer, Cornell meets the requisite of being a “qualifying employer” in that it is a not-for-profit organization, tax-exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the IRS.
