Student I-9 Processing Hubs for Fall 2026

Cornell University seal on red wall

To help manage the high volume of hires at the start of the semester, Cornell will again host Student I-9 Processing Hubs.

During the weeks of August 24 and August 31, student employees who are unable to meet with their department’s I-9 representative(s) within the required three-business day window of their start date may visit one of the designated campus hubs (see locations below) to complete Section 2 of Form I-9 with an authorized Cornell representative.

The hubs will be open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis; no appointment is required. The process typically takes about 5–10 minutes.

HUB Locations

  • Day Hall, Suite 150 – 144 Feeney Way
  • Statler Hall, Suite 135 – 106 Statler Drive

Important Reminders

  • Section 2 of Form I-9 must be completed within three business days of an individual’s start date.
  • To complete Section 2 of Form I-9, individuals must present original, unexpired documents to verify their identity and employment authorization. Photocopies will not be accepted.
