Why Connection Matters: Did you know that our brains are hardwired for social connection? Scientific research shows that social connection is both a biological and social necessity. Just as hunger signals our need for food, loneliness signals our need for connection — a craving as essential as food or water. And this need doesn't stop when we’re at work!
Who Should Attend: We encourage all employees, especially new hires, to attend! This is a great opportunity for people leaders/managers, co-workers, and HR to invite their colleagues to engage together in this unique opportunity to build connections, foster community, and discover ways to engage with Cornell beyond your daily responsibilities.
No formal RSVP is required, but in order to receive event updates, we invite you to register your interest below. Questions? Please reach out to inclusion@cornell.edu.
This event is sponsored by the Department of Inclusion and Belonging and the Division of Human Resources.
