A New Way to Manage Time Away in Workday!

A system update was made to Workday on September 20, 2025, that impacts recording and tracking of time away. 

Workday made certain changes to language used across the platform. For employees, the most notable difference is that "Time Off" will now appear as "Absence."

Planning and requesting time away will now be done in one convenient location, making it even easier to manage schedules. 

The process of requesting vacation, HAP, and other types of time away will remain the same, except for a fresh look and updated wording. For example, "Request Time Off" will now appear as the "Manage Absence" app.
