New Floating Holidays Beginning January 2025
Cornell deeply values the diverse backgrounds and beliefs of our community members. We recognize the importance of providing flexible time off for employees to participate in celebrations of personal significance, including but not limited to religious, cultural, and national events.
We are pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2025, and annually thereafter, all regular full- and part-time (benefits-eligible) non-academic staff, as well as benefits-eligible temporary employees, will receive up to two paid floating holidays per calendar year. These floating holidays are in addition to the 13 paid staff holidays already provided.
