Effective April 1, 2021, domestic travelers are no longer required to quarantine after entering New York from another U.S. State or U.S. Territory. Mandatory quarantine remains in effect for international travelers.

Consistent with CDC guidance asymptomatic individuals who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 do not need to quarantine if they have been around someone who has COVID-19.
March 30, 2021
Effective Wednesday, March 10, in-person instruction has been expanded to include “All Essential, In-person staff”. Beginning March 30, all New Yorkers 30 years and older are eligible for vaccination, followed by expanded eligibility for New Yorkers 16 years and older on April 6.

Employees in New York State may take up to four hours off from work, with pay, to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

New legislation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic allows benefits-eligible employees to enroll in or make changes to 2021 flexible spending accounts any time during the year, without experiencing a life status change.  It also impacts deadlines and rollovers for 2020 accounts.
