Break and Learn: Wellbeing and Inclusion for the Remote/Hybrid Employee

Presenters:

  • Michelle Artibee, Director of Workforce Wellbeing, HR Division
  • Allie Zimmerman, Flex Talent Senior Consultant

Facilitated by:

  • Erin Sember-Chase, Learning Consultant, Inclusion & Belonging

Session Overview:

Do you or a member of your team work remotely and often have to ask “Is that available to me too?” or “How can I access that if I’m not in New York?” As the world of work continues to become more virtual, it is imperative that we ensure our remote and hybrid employees know how to access resources and services that support their health, engagement, and workplace inclusion and retention.

Join us to hear Michelle and Allie share the range of wellbeing-related programs and services, which include physical health, mental health, and work/life support, available to benefits-eligible Cornell staff and faculty who have remote or flex/flexible work arrangements. Additionally, we’ll talk about how to find resources to stay connected within a remote working environment, and the Okanagan Charter and Health Promoting Campus initiative that each of us, regardless of how near or far to “campus” we are, can be involved with to help cultivate a culture of wellbeing in our world of work.
