The most rewarding part of my job is interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and the relationships that I have developed.  I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from San Jose State University (SJSU); and a Master’s Science degree in Law with a concentration in Human Resources Law and Compliance from the University of Southern California (USC). Bio: Dan is our HR Talent and Employee Engagement Specialist for both Cornell Engineering and Bowers CIS. Prior to this role, he was a Benefits Specialist assisting members of our Cornell Community at various points in their career. Dan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Juniata College and his Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford. Dan’s areas of focus include talent management, onboarding, employee engagement, and organizational behavior & change while supporting various other HR functions. Carolyn Chow’s career has been devoted to diversity and inclusion in higher education. She came to Cornell after 19 years of serving as Director of Admissions and Student Diversity at the University of Washington School of Nursing.  She joined Cornell University in May 2019 as the Staff Recruiter and Inclusion Program Lead for the College of Veterinary Medicine. She became a Talent Acquisition Partner in the Office of Talent Attraction and Recruitment in October 2022.  Carolyn loves and appreciates being supported in making a positive impact in the community and at Cornell through her work.  One of her major goals is to leverage her skills and talents to help everyone who wants to make a positive impact, through working at Cornell, find their place at Cornell, too. Freddie Salley

Freddie Salley is a Recruiter at eCornell.  Freddie joined eCornell in November 2021. She is responsible for all of eCornell’s recruiting, managing end to end recruitments, including partnering with hiring managers on recruitment strategy, creating position descriptions, and identifying qualified candidates.

Prior to joining eCornell, Freddie was the Assistant Director of Advising in the College of Engineering at Cornell.

Freddie has an M.A. in English from Clemson University and B.A. in History from University of Maryland, College Park, MD.

When Freddie isn’t working, she enjoys going to concerts, sporting events (go Lakers!), reading novels, and baking.
