Information Technology is one of the most dynamic areas to work at Cornell. IT supports everything done across the university, from teaching and research to facilities and HR.

IT at Cornell

Cornell Information Technology (CIT) provides a central hub for services, with individual IT departments found throughout the colleges and work units. There are nearly 800 IT jobs throughout the university.



Types of Jobs

IT spans a broad range of roles, including network administration, cybersecurity, programming, web development, application design, accessibility, technical writing, customer support, audio/visual technology, and more. Much potential for advancement is possible within individual roles as well as into management positions.
