Form I-9
Federal law requires verification of original, unexpired documents that establish identity and employment authorization.
- Documentation: List of Acceptable Documents for Form I-9 verification
- Deadline: The I-9 must be certified and submitted within three business days of your start date.
- Remote Employees: If you are located 100 miles or more from a Cornell University campus you will need to work with a local notary to complete Section 2 of the Form I-9.
