We hope you like the fresh look of the site as well as the many new features built into the design!

Responsive, accessible, and easy to navigate.
Now you can view the HR website as easily from your smartphone as you do your desktop. Improved navigation and deep links in our megamenu will shorten search time for the most useful and popular pages. A second-level navigation bar featuring drop-down menus will allow you to fully navigate robust sections such as “Benefits” and “Jobs.” The site is also WCAG compliant and follows best practices for accessibility.

Find the document or policy you need quickly.
The new document search tool utilizes a database filterable by topics such as policies, forms, guides (i.e. job aids or "how-to" instructions), and publications (i.e. comparison charts, tables, brochures, and booklets). This tool is independent of the main site search found at the top of the page, which searches the entirety of the HR website or Cornell.edu. While all documents are included in the larger search, you’ll get a focused selection of results by using the document search tool.

Point to our audience-based navigation.
We’ve made it easier for segments of our community – academics, staff, retirees and new hires – to easily access the topics they need without wading through content. These role-based pages perform two functions: pull deeper links to the surface, and provide a tailored experience for each audience. There are also dedicated areas for managers and HR professionals.
