(update: the Child Care Grant application period for 2020 is now closed.)
You must apply during the September 4-30 application period to receive funding during the 2020 calendar year.
If you are pregnant, or planning to adopt, and expect to have child care expenses in 2020 you must apply at this time – applications after September 30 will not be accepted.
The Child Care Grant Program one of many programs offered through the Division of Human Resources to address the work/life balance needs of faculty and staff – covers eligible child care expenses, including infant and toddler daycare, pre-school/pre-K programs, school-age summer day camps/programs, and school-age before- and after-school care for children who are legal dependents of faculty or staff members.
To receive grant funds on a tax-free basis, faculty and staff must be eligible to participate in the dependent care flexible spending account. See complete eligibility requirements in the online FAQs. Cornell Cooperative Extension County Association employees are not eligible to apply for the grant program.
