The Daily Check is used by employees to upload proof of booster vaccination, schedule supplemental tests, view their surveillance testing schedule if applicable, self-report positive tests, and access other important information.
Daily Health Screening for Symptomatic Individuals
All Cornell faculty and staff will continue to get a daily email reminding them to conduct a symptom assessment; however, you will only need to complete the Daily Check health assessment if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Students are not required to complete the Daily Check at this time.
It is important to recognize and appreciate that you play a key role in fostering a healthy workplace and community so if you are ill, do not come to campus. Please consult with your primary care physician. Students may also seek care with Cornell Health.
When experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, employees are expected to:
- Complete the Daily Check health assessment before arriving on campus; you will be flagged yellow and should not report to campus for the day.
- Complete an antigen test shortly after reporting symptoms: if you receive a positive result, go to the Daily Check home page and use the appropriate button on Your Self-Reported Results box to report your positive result.
- Work remotely if possible.
Although not required, it is recommended that you complete a supplemental COVID test upon return to work unless you have tested positive in the last 90 days.
